I AM Pods

We welcome you to The Sprouts Pod where we create an environment of

whole child development; cognitive, physical, and spiritual.

We do this by providing learning materials that will help the child explore

Math, Language, Reading, Social Studies, Science, and Art. Through play and

everyday interactions, your child's sensorimotor, and

critical thinking skills will be strengthened, as we encourage exploration,

curiosity, creativity and reflection to increase independence and competence.

We love, and hope you will too, to watch our little ones flourish and

spread their wings, ready to soar to newer heights in their upcoming learning

escapades. Get ready to witness growth, fun, and endless possibilities in the

Sprouts pod!

In our Seedling Pod, young learners will embark on thrilling adventures

building on what they learned in Sprouts! Their Math, Language, Reading, Art,

Social studies, Science, Sensorimotor, and Critical Thinking a

skills are all geared to spark growth and independence. Imagine a bustling

classroom where your child's active mind and body is fully embraced, where

s/he has the freedom to explore while also learning important boundaries and

goal setting skills! Picture a place where your child not only learns academics,

but also essential life and faith lessons and skills in a fun and engaging way.

We will help your children as they embark on a self-discovery journey, asking

big questions, and pursuing their passions as they find out who God has

purposed for them to be. Each child is unique and we, along with their older

peers, will mentor, guide and support them with love and care, as they unfold

their potential in this enchanting space tailored just for them.

When your child is at this developmental stage, their hunger for learning is

insatiable and the foundation we started setting at the Seedlings level is more rooted.

Learning turns into exciting adventures where as learners imagination is wild.

When they read, they become one with the story, math and science become

more applicable, language explodes, faith becomes more personal, and

sensorimotor skills are more controlled.

At I Am Academy, learning is all about doing. Our Buds will start learning

academics using fun interactive projects. For example, while baking, they

learn about math and chemistry, by building marble runs, testing boats, and

crafting bridges, they learn physics and engineering. By reading and

researching topics that are interesting to each individual child, they learn

computer skills and how to communicate ideas in front of an audience. They

react to books specifically picked to encourage them to see how God is at work in

the WORLD through all created things. They are encouraged to engage in

Socratic discussions that unravel the mysteries of life and stimulate the love of

learning.

Your children are morphing into great thinkers and leaders , setting achievable

goals, leading a life of faith, and exhibiting character and traits like love,

integrity, kindness, and hard work that will make them compassionate world

citizens. It's not just about school; it's about nurturing a life that's bold,

meaningful, and full of divine wonder.

This is a stage where we see most young people struggling with confidence

and questioning their ‘worth’. At I Am Academy, we partner with our students

and their guardians to instill confidence, competence and self-worth. The

academic work becomes more about mastery of Core Skills, the books

chosen to engage in our Socratic discussion are geared towards inner self

discovery and character formation, and faith discussions encourage an

assurance in identity and purpose.

Rooted pod is where Service Projects become more meaningful!

Opportunities are offered for our learners to explore their passions, grow in

leadership, learn the value of serving others selflessly, and work together to

solve real-world problems. Curiosity is rewarded, agency is empowered, and

our children learn skills and confidence needed to excel in the world. These

service projects are like stepping into a realm of fulfillment, learning, and

growing while guided by a higher calling.

Pursuing these service opportunities isn't just about today; it's about molding a

future filled with purpose and service in the eyes of God. We envision learners

teaming up with community organizations, and other businesses—all while

walking the path of faith and excellence. It's a journey where passion

intertwines with purpose, and learners radiate in the glow of faith and endless

possibilities.

This is an exciting and new chapter of I AM Academy that will be COMING SOON. Unlike a regular high

school, this dynamic studio is aimed to help learners shape their own

educational path to align with their passions, goals, and unique style of

learning. Here, project-based exploration and independent study take center

stage, all guided by the values of our Christian faith. This studio places a

special emphasis on service projects and career readiness, equipping

learners for their future endeavors after school—a future filled with purpose

and God's guidance.

Our vision for the Thrive Pod is to help our learners step into a bright future

which could entail continuing their education, launching innovative

businesses, entering the workforce, or choosing any other path that resonates

with their individual calling. It's a place where a good education and strong

faith nurtures leaders who shine brightly in their chosen paths, guided by the

light of God's grace!
